For Geography Optional (Paper 1 & 2)
The syllabus of Geography optional is clearly defined and limited. Ample sources for reference are available
for study. While Paper 1 deals with theoretical understanding of the subject, Paper 2 deals with the
application of theory to the Indian Geographic reality. Selective reading from the below mentioned basic
references should cover 80% of the syllabus.
